Terms of Service
1. About the Service. AML Coins.Black ("the Service", "we") is an online tool provided by Coins.Black that allows a Customer to request an anti-money-laundering (AML) risk check of a blockchain address or a specific on-chain transaction. Risk assessment is performed by a third-party AML risk-scoring provider ("the Provider") and is not conducted by us directly.
2. Nature of the results. The risk level, risk score and related data (exposure, entity categories, transaction risks) shown by the Service are generated automatically by the Provider's systems, based on blockchain data and the Provider's own risk-scoring methodology. We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. A "low risk" result is not a certification that funds are legitimate, and a "high risk" result is not proof of illegal activity. The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax or compliance advice. Any decision made on the basis of a check result (including accepting or declining a transaction, onboarding a counterparty, or reporting to authorities) remains solely the Customer's responsibility.
3. Balance and payment. 3.1. Use of the Service requires a prepaid balance, denominated in USD. 3.2. The balance is topped up via the supported payment provider, which accepts a range of cryptocurrencies and converts the received amount into the Service's internal USD-denominated balance. 3.3. The minimum top-up amount is $1. 3.4. The price of a single check is set by the Service administration and may differ by network and check type (address check vs. transaction check); the current price is shown before the check is submitted. 3.5. The cost of a check is deducted from the balance at the moment the check is created. 3.6. If the check could not be created due to a technical failure on our side or on the Provider's side, the deducted amount is automatically returned to the balance. 3.7. Once a check has been successfully created and a result returned, the fee is non-refundable, including in cases where the Customer disagrees with or is dissatisfied by the resulting risk assessment - the fee covers the performance of the check itself, not a particular outcome.
4. Account and access. 4.1. The Service uses the same account/authentication system as coins.black; by using the Service you also remain subject to the general coins.black Terms of Service and AML/KYC Policy where applicable. 4.2. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for all activity performed through it.
5. Acceptable use. 5.1. The Service must not be used to circumvent, probe, or reverse-engineer the Provider's risk-scoring methodology for the purpose of structuring transactions to evade detection. 5.2. Automated bulk querying beyond normal individual use, or use that degrades the Service or the underlying provider's API, is prohibited and may result in suspension of access without refund of the remaining balance.
6. Data submitted for checks. Blockchain addresses and transaction hashes you submit are, by their nature, public on-chain data. Submitting an address or transaction hash to the Service does not itself disclose any private information beyond what is already visible on the relevant public blockchain. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we store and for how long, and our Risk Disclaimer for the limitations of the risk assessment itself.
7. Shareable results. A completed check result can be made available via a public link and/or downloaded as a PDF. Anyone with the link can view that specific result; do not share a result link if you do not want its contents (including the checked address/transaction and the risk data) to be visible to third parties.
8. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and its operator are not liable for any direct or indirect losses, including financial losses, arising from reliance on a check result, from unavailability of the Service or the underlying Provider API, or from delays in balance crediting due to blockchain network conditions or the payment provider's processing time.
9. Changes. We may update these Terms, the list of supported networks, and pricing at any time; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
10. Contact. Questions about these Terms: info@coins.black or Telegram @coinsblack.
